The original illustration was drawn with pencil, fineliner, marker, and colored pencils on 285mm x 285mm 170g sketchbook paper during a comics event.

The drawing was then scanned and adapted to an A3 format by adding the details and missing parts (such as the stars and the rear fins of the Yamato) using the digital drawing software Clip Studio Paint.
